I never thought that I would love studio photography. I adore photographing with natural light but I wanted more from my images. I wanted to photograph my children’s eyes as bright as I see them – no shadows, no sun flares, no distractions. The only way I was able to get these images with natural light was with the perfect setting, ideal weather and diffused lighting. I decided to teach myself how to take photos with an off-camera flash to get those sharp, simple images. I like using simple props that don’t distract from my subject. I want to capture kids, as they are right now.
So we set up our new photography studio in Santa Rosa, California and I’m happy to say we are open for business! Please enjoy these children and family images from our new studio.
